Important News

There is a new date for the Society's 2018 AGM. The 2018 Annual General Meeting was noted on the Program Card as being held on 13th March. It will not now take place on that date but instead on Thursday, 19th April at the same venue, the Clifton Room in the Guildhall, Victoria Road, Dartmouth at 7:00 for 7:30pm.

Members will have been aware that the Society has been at a low ebb in the past year, with no events organised and little public visibilty. We are pleased to say that things are going to change for the better but we have delayed the AGM to give us a more time to bring that about.

Robert Brooke as Chairman and Andrew Jarrold as Vice-Chairman have been co-opted to the Committee and will be nominated for election in those posts at the AGM. They are currently working hard on a review of the Officers and Committee and further nominations will be brought forward at the AGM.

At this stage all members need to do is note the postponement of the AGM and the new date. We will be contacting them again in early April with the full documents for the AGM.
